We are getting a bit nervous about the visa... The 7 weeks usual time to get it, as mentioned in the site of the Canadian visa office in Paris, is up, and our ticket to Toronto is for next Sunday - in seven days!It's funny how, when you know you are going to leave a city which you have always hated, you start noticing all sorts of little quirks about it that are actually quite interesting, and that you realize you will miss. Even so, I think I will miss Manchester as much as I would like to be kicked in the head by someone wearing iron boots with poisoned spikes.
