The provinces and territories of Canada

Canada is a very young country. Although the state was created in 1867, it was only in 1982 that the Canada Act severed remaining legislative dependence of Canada on the United Kingdom. However, Queen Elizabeth remains Queen of Canada and Head of State of Canada, although this is of course a more symbolic role than anything else.

In the map, you can see the ten provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador) and three territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) of Canada.
