Inuk is getting all shiny

As I realized that the reason why the Civic's paint had no shine at all was that it was heavily oxidized (rather than being a matte paint), I decided to buy a polishing compound and see whether it would make a difference. It's fantastic. In the photo, you can see how the hood was coming along. For a mere $5 (and 3-4 hours of polishing for 70% of the car so far), I am very happy with the results.
