Trip to Port Stanley

Micheline and Doug were going to Port Stanley and they invited us along.

We stop off at this shop by the road to get some vegetables.

Port Stanley is on the shores of Lake Erie, 40 km from London. Some people swim here, but apparently it's a bit polluted, so Lake Huron is a better option for swimming. Lake Huron is more or less the same distance from London.

Some houses with a lake view

More Port Stanley

I took these from the car window as we were driving past them

Picard's - Peanut heaven. Peanuts with honey, peanuts with cheddar cheese, peanuts with garlic, onion, salt & vinegar, you name it.

A crop-dusting plane at the place where Doug occasionally rents out a Cessna 4-seater for short flights over the region.

A panorama of Port Stanley. I realised I must correct lens distortion before making panoramas or they look funny at the seams (like this one).

Este comentário reporta-se (olha que bonito) à senhora que está by the yellow automobile: Benha de lá uma portuguêja com menos 100 kg e buxo e tudo. Foge! Já não quero ver canadianos nas fotos...
De qualquer modo, agradeço a tentativa.
