Nova Lisboa

Tonight we are going for dinner at Nova Lisboa, or "Novo Lisboa", as Micheline and Doug (our next-door neighbours) spell it. They have this thing for Portugal. The first week we were here they took us to eat at "Rei dos Leitões", where we could drink Sagres and Super-Bock, and there was RTP International on the big screen. The food was great, but it was a real tasca, with hairy men with large moustaches. Construction workers, mostly, I guess. Well, that was EOA... Micheline told us that in London it is generally not advisable to go EOA, that is, East of Adelaide (Adelaide St), and this was in the deep East. Buildings were shabby and the area looked totally different to our Whitehills.
